Lola Kartchner Is a self taught watercolor artist. She is most commonly known as an award winning signature member of the Utah Watercolors Society (UWS).
" Although some form of art has always been part of my life, I began watercolors about 20 years ago in 1998. From the first time water & brush touched paint and paper it was love. This beautiful, illusive medium captivates me everytime I paint. I sometimes use old barns, buildings & flowers in my work, but am ultimately a traditional landscape artist. I try to recreate on paper what Mother Nature has created here on earth. Living in Utah there is an endless supply of inspiration. I hope others will enjoy seeing my art as much as I love creating it."
